ARCO GRANDE(SECCA DI PONENTE)

Depending on weather conditions, the dive path can begin or from the top of the Ponente shoal, or with a dive “in the blue”; in both cases, the landscape is great; a big rocky formationthat starts from the seabed at 38 meters deep up to 23 meters deep  below the surface, forms a natural arch of rock. Inside this arch, you will find a wonderfull  light show, prawns, moray eels, sponges of various colors and many more sea life. During the dive, one can also explore other nearby rock formations, that form a sort of underwater garden, quite rich in large white (Eunicella singularis), yellow (Eunicella sprouts) and red (Paramuricea clavata) gorgonians. In such an environment rich in biodiversity, an extraordinary meeting can hide behind every corner of the rock!
